Sulema Reichel

Sulema “Sue” Reichel is an Associate Licensed Clinical Social Worker and works part-time in the counseling unit. She primarily works with children, adolescents, individuals, and families. Sue believes in the power of a therapeutic relationship and meeting clients where they are in their process. She works with individuals who experience depression, anxiety, domestic violence, grief, mood disorders, trauma history, and other life challenges. Sue strives to walk alongside clients as they embark on their therapeutic journey. She believes in utilizing various strategies, including motivational interviewing, mindfulness, psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). Sue is committed to providing the finest level of support to meet client needs with a strengths-based focus.

 

Sue obtained a Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Bachelor’s degree from Winston-Salem State University. She is pursuing specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and play therapy.
