Morgan Murph

Morgan is a Counseling Graduate intern with the counseling unit at Family Services, currently pursuing her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Couples and Family Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Morgan obtained her Infant Toddler and Family Specialist Certificate & Registered Behavioral Technician License before pursuing her Master’s. Morgan brings extensive experience working with children, adolescents, families, and individuals with diverse needs. She employs an integrated approach to counseling, tailoring her methods to best meet each client’s unique needs. Her therapeutic practice incorporates frameworks such as Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Strength-Based approaches. Morgan is dedicated to empowering clients to lead their own healing journeys, regardless of their starting point. She utilizes trauma-informed strategies to support clients through various challenges, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment difficulties. Committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment, Morgan ensures that clients feel heard and empowered throughout their therapeutic experience.
