Marisol Barrera
Marisol Barrera is a dedicated Family Coach for the Strengthening Families Program, serving both English and Spanish-speaking families. Originally from California, she relocated to North Carolina in 2001. As a wife and mother of two boys, along with a beloved goldendoodle, Marisol enjoys spending her free time immersed in nature, whether it’s hiking, playing tennis, or riding on a motorcycle with her husband.
With over 40 years of volunteer service through her church, Habitat for Humanity, and diabetes and heart disease fundraisers, Marisol has made significant contributions to her community. Her professional work includes serving as an interpreter at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Health and for the Family Services Child Advocacy Center.
Marisol is passionate about fostering happy and healthy lives for families, which drives her commitment to her role as a coach with the Strengthening Families Program.
