Meet Our Therapists and Family Coaches

Dawn Geschiere

As a Strengthening Families Program Coach, Dawn has a passion for encouraging families to meaningfully engage and connect within their homes and communities. With an empowerment focus, she views each family member through a lens of mutual respect, love, listening, and learning.

Dawn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education. She is also a trained and Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, an empowerment life coach, and a Mom to five amazing young adults. Among the numerous skills taught and practiced in the Strengthening Families Program, Dawn has a particular affinity for the Mindfulness exercises, ‘Family Meetings,’ and ‘MyTime’ skills. She believes that each of these skills is foundational to a family’s well-being.

In her free time, Dawn spends time with her family and friends or alone in writing, reading, cooking, creating, and/or walking through the woods. A nature-lover and outdoor enthusiast, she loves to hike, kayak, bike, or paddleboard. Through her work at Family Services, Dawn is a strong advocate for family well-being–committed to empowering families towards resilience, collective leadership, meaningful connections, reciprocal understanding and compassionate engagement.
