Meet Our Therapists and Family Coaches

Carrington Wright

Carrington is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. She earned a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University. She primarily uses cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), blending techniques from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to provide a comprehensive and tailored approach.

She is dedicated to helping a range of ages across the board, especially teens and adults, navigate a variety of mental health concerns. Carrington works with people struggling with depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, and identity. Other areas of passion for Carrington include support for those facing stress, life transitions, low self-esteem, and adoptees.

Carrington’s journey into mental health counseling was deeply influenced by her years as a classroom teacher. Here, her desire to address mental health challenges, particularly in marginalized communities, and her eagerness to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health intensified. Her aim is to walk alongside you on your journey to mental well-being.
