Meet Our Therapists and Family Coaches

Brooklyn Sager

Brooklyn is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University. With a background in education, she brings a strong foundation in child development and relational support.

In her clinical practice, Brooklyn takes an integrative approach that is both trauma-informed and neurodivergence-affirming. She utilizes a person-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative approach with her clients while incorporating frameworks such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and a variety of other interventions and strategies to help clients access their own resilience, creativity, and capacity for growth.

Brooklyn works with families and individuals of all ages, supporting clients through concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and relational challenges. Her philosophy of counseling is rooted in the belief that healing occurs when people feel seen, supported, and empowered to live authentically. She views therapy as a collaborative journey, where client and counselor work together to uncover meaning, develop coping strategies, and build a sense of connection to both the self and others.
