Alex Rodriguez

Alex is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern at Family Services. She is currently a second-year counseling master’s student at UNCG. Alex has an interest in serving individuals, couples, and families. She uses Family Systems Theory which attends to various relationship aspects and individuals desire for social connection. She gives thought to the contextual factors that inform client’s worldview and presenting concerns. She seeks to develop trusting therapeutic relationships with her clients through a person-centered approach where they feel comfortable to discuss sensitive topics.
