For over 115 years, Family Services has been improving the lives of children and families in Forsyth County by ensuring their safety and well-being.

Over the last year, we supported 1,507 victims in-person for crisis intervention, safety planning, and support. The number of residents seeking help for domestic and family violence increased by 21%. Our staff and volunteers answered 766 Crisis Line calls with compassion and care. And, 4,893 nights of care for women and children were provided in our Shelter for victims of domestic violence.

At Family Services, our work often deals with the most difficult human circumstances imaginable. Join us on October 21st for our annual fundraising event. We ask for your support as we RISE together to support survivors during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Home is often the most dangerous place in America for women.
