HOME IS OFTEN THE MOST DANGEROUS PLACE IN AMERICA FOR WOMEN.

Family Services has been improving the lives of children and families in Forsyth County for nearly 115 years. We have been the caretakers of the Women’s Shelter since the 1980s. Leaving an abusive partner can be risky and frightening. If you or your children need to escape a dangerous home situation, our staff will be ready for you.

NEED HELP?

If you are the victim of domestic violence we are here for you — day and night — to help you deal with your situation and emotions. Whether you were a victim minutes ago, days ago or years ago, Family Services is here to help you gain piece of mind by providing empathy and emotional support through our services provided by caring and professional staff.
