COVID-19 Coronavirus Resources and Information
Family Services is closely monitoring the rapidly changing coronavirus (COVID-19) health situation as it relates to our community, our mission, our families, and our dedicated staff members.
While this rapidly evolving situation has created tension and stress for many in our community, we are continually working to educate ourselves on the possibility of how this virus may alter our daily lives and our work in Forsyth County.
We recognize that the current pandemic remains a fluid situation. As such, we will continue to plan for possible adjustments in the agency’s schedule and leave policies, as well as the fact that we may need to prepare to deliver some of our services differently through the use of advanced technology.
As our leadership team works through the specific challenges in these uncertain times, please know that Family Services is committed to continuing our services and programs without interruption. And we will work equally hard to protect the health and well-being of our community and our employees.
We know we can do these things because we’ve been working to better our community for more than a century — since we were founded in 1905.
We were here to help then.
We are here to help now.
And we will continue to be here to help tomorrow.
We will use this page to provide updated information and resources to help reassure and inform our clients, volunteers, donors and staff members, and to reduce risk in our facilities, homes, and community.
