J. Nelson-Weaver joined our staff in 2021 as the agency’s Clinical Services Director. As a member of senior management, J. has overall administrative responsibility for the agency’s behavioral health and interpersonal violence programs.  J. worked for Family Services in 2019-20 as the Planning Coordinator for the Family Justice Center, during which she organized and guided a collaborative planning process that led to the establishment of the Center.

In February 2017, Vivien Stearns became the director of Family Services Child Development Division, adding more than 20 years of experience in elementary education and the field of early childhood education to Family Services Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Prior to her work with Family Services, Vivien envisioned retiring as a first-grade teacher. That was until she began making home visits as the Senior Infant-Toddler Specialist for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
