Meet Our Therapists

Victoria Williams

Victoria is a Master of Social Work student attending UNC Chapel Hill. She is interning with Family Services within the Counseling Unit and also at the IPV (Interpersonal Violence) Shelter. Victoria is a UNC Prime Care for Youth Scholar. Prime Care Scholars focus on learning and practicing integrated healthcare. She is currently in the LCAS (Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist) program at UNC Chapel Hill. This program allows students to earn hours towards their LCAS certificate while still enrolled in school. Victoria is working towards becoming an LCAS as well as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker). Prior to pursuing her master’s degree, she worked with youth in the juvenile justice system and also in behavioral health settings. She has always enjoyed working with youth and their families but hopes to expand her reach into becoming proficient in working with adults, and all ages afflicted by addiction. Her goal is to help clients overcome obstacles and reach new goals by using a trauma-focused lens, motivational interviewing, and a person-centered approach.

Victoria will receive her Master’s of Social Work from UNC-Chapel Hill in May 2023. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English from Shaw University. Upon graduation, she would like to pursue a career in law enforcement working as a clinician in a co-response model.
