Laura Brentnell

Laura Brentnell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works primarily with individuals and families, including young children and adolescents. Laura strives to help each client meet their own needs through utilizing strengths-based, solution-focused, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy. She works with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, domestic violence, mood disorders, grief, trauma history, and other life challenges. Laura believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship and partners with her clients to foster healing, introspection and growth.

Laura is a rostered clinician in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children and adolescents, and she has extensive training in play therapy. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
