Hello, friends,

I wanted to take a few moments to reach out to you during this critical and uncertain time. I hope everyone in your family is doing well, because at Family Services, we know that family is everything.

I know that many of you have been impacted financially and some of you may be facing the loss of your job. Many of the families we serve are dealing with these stresses and need our services now more than ever.

We are here for you and your family as well. If there’s anything we can do to support you at this time, please don’t hesitate to call on us.

At Family Services we have largely transformed our entire business model over the last two weeks. This is a testament to the skills and dedication of our staff, who have worked tirelessly to continue to provide essential services to the community.

Most of our staff are teleworking from their homes, utilizing those technologies that have been developed over the last couple of decades to allow them to counsel, coach, and support families remotely by means of phone or video conferencing.

I’ve recorded three short videos to share what each of our programs is doing and how they have adjusted to continue to accomplish our mission during the coronavirus pandemic.

It’s remarkable how quickly and smoothly the transition from doing everything in person to doing everything remotely has occurred, while still maintaining the high level of quality that Family Services subscribes to, and that the children and families we serve can truly benefit from.

We know that our work doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Now more than ever, we need your help to continue this work at the scale this crisis demands. Thank you for keeping our vision in motion.
