Family Services will participate in the Monument Quilt by displaying a quilt square as part of the Wake Forest University’s collection of squares from other local schools, campus and community organizations. The Monument Quilt is a crowd-sourced collection of thousands of stories from survivors of rape and abuse that tells their stories by stitching together thousands of fabric squares to spell out the words “NOT ALONE.”

On April 23, all of the quilt squares will be displayed on the Mag Quad at Wake Forest University from 11:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. After this display, the squares will be shipped to Washington, DC to be a part of a nationwide display that is expected to cover over one mile of the National Mall.
