Family Services is pleased to announce that the agency has received a $100,000 grant award from the COVID-19 Response Fund for Forsyth County.  The funds will be used to maintain current levels of mental health and domestic violence services, to prepare for anticipated increases in demand, and to support families/clients who are in need due to COVID-19.

The COVID-19 pandemic will have significant impact on local nonprofit organizations, from operational and fundraising challenges to increased demand for support services from impacted individuals. The COVID-19 Response Fund for Forsyth County was established by a partnership between United Way of Forsyth County, The Winston-Salem Foundation, the City of Winston-Salem, Forsyth County and Community Organizations Active in Disaster to support local community members impacted by the novel coronavirus.

We are grateful for their support of our work.
