An Oh-So-Wonderful Blessing!

• Eight-year-old Sara loves to read. But it almost didn’t happen.
• Alyssa wants to be a nurse. But it almost didn’t happen.
• People tell Martin he is a wonderful boy. But he almost didn’t know it.
• Ellie is smart and loving. But she almost didn’t know it.
• David truly believes he can become anything he wants. But that almost didn’t happen.

One-third of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County’s children under age 5 is threatened by the constant stress and pressures of living in poverty – which lead to emotional, behavioral, health, and learning problems. Too many of our youngest children are stranded on the far side of opportunities that could help them thrive.

That’s why Family Services is thrilled to announce an unexpected and
oh-so-wonderful blessing.Donate_Now

An anonymous donor has come forward to challenge each of us to make a huge difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families.

From now through June 30, 2017, every gift to Family Services will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $75,000. That’s $150,000 to support more opportunities that can place young children on a path toward reaching their full potential.

We need your help to match every dollar of this generous donation.

Family_Services_Case_for_SupportFamily Services has a big vision for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County: Ensuring that all children have the opportunity to enroll in quality, affordable early child development programs, and ensuring that all children and families are free from the threat of family violence.  Learn about our plan and how it’s already working.
