Since 1905, Family Services has made a positive and lasting impact on the lives of Forsyth County families and individuals by:
- helping children receive quality, early education and develop in a nurturing environment by overseeing Forsyth County’s Early Head Start and Head Start programs; and
- safeguarding individuals from the pain of physical and emotional abuse by providing expert intervention, counseling and support.
- helping low-income families with young children achieve the goals they set to become become self-sufficient and reach their full potential.
- inspiring community businesses and organizations to creatively bring awareness to issues of abuse and sexual assault in their respective communities and execute plans that will reduce and prevent incidents of family violence in our community.
